PLEASE HELP US PREVENT VETERAN AND FIRST RESPONDER SUICIDES!

Your donation goes directly to support veterans and first responders in healing.

Twenty veterans a day are dying by their own hand, and first responder suicides are at an all-time high. This is tragic and simply unacceptable. At the Center for Post Traumatic Growth we believe that many of these suicides may be related to unrecognized and untreated moral injuries. Moral injury is NOT a “disorder”, it is a soul wound that occurs when one bears witness to, or believes they have perpetrated harm on others. We must treat moral injury together with Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) to heal our morally injured people of service.

We are reaching out to you to help us save the lives of those who serve and protect us, our families, our communities, and our country. At the Center for Post Traumatic Growth we provide an effective, group treatment for Moral Injury and PTS developed over two decades working with these populations. It is our policy to offer this effective, compassionate care regardless of ability to pay.

As the Sacramento Community Foundation’s Big Day of Giving on May 5th approaches, please consider supporting the Center for Post Traumatic Growth as a part of your giving plan. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly to treatment services that are so critical for the mental, physical, and emotional health of the people who selflessly serve and protect our families, communities, and country.

WE HAVE A $5,000 MATCHING GRANT - YOUR DONATION IS DOUBLED!!
